Georeferencing 101 - Images to Spatial Data.

Prerequisites

  1. Computers with GIMP, Inkscape and QGIS 2.0 or higher.
  2. GDAL/OGR packages.
    1. OS X - Install GDAL/OGR along with QGIS
    2. Ubuntu - Download from the package manager.
  3. Bring the best pointing device you have (mouse, trackpad, trackball, drawing tablets etc.)
  4. Bring lots of patience and coffee.
